Hello, I'm Guy Scheibner (he/him/his)
I identify as queer, transgender, white (English and German descent), able-bodied, middle class, and spiritual.
My therapeutic approach is compassionate, down-to-earth, relational, trauma-informed, and depth-focused. I believe in the inherent goodness within all people and focus on one's inner wisdom in order to support healing. I integrate principals of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Ecotherapy, and Feminist therapy.
I believe connection and creating meaningful relationship to self and others to be fundamental to healing. I use an integrative approach that addresses client concerns through a larger context, such as family of origin structure, greater societal norms (patriarchy), structural racism, and others.
